Job summary

OTT CREATION MARKETING in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, is seeking a full-time AMHS Engineer to maintain automated material handling systems at the customer site. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and CIP upgrades, with a focus on downtime prevention and accurate inventory tracking.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant engineering degree, experience with industrial automation, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering.
• Experience with industrial cleanroom automation or material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AMHS equipment as part of sustaining support team.
• Identify and resolve daily issues to prevent downtime.
• Perform repairs and install CIP modifications and upgrades.
• Track ongoing error investigations and close with root cause and corrective action.
• Maintain accurate consignment inventory tracking.
• Produce weekly and quarterly MCBI reports.
• Update skills with new equipment, policies, procedures.
• Prepare to go on-site as required.

Job Description

• To maintain company AMHS equipment as a member of the sustaining support team at the customer's facility.
• Must proactively look for, identify, and resolve daily issues and prevent downtime.
• Responsible for error recovery, equipment repairs and installations of any assigned Continuing Improvement Program (CIP) modifications and upgrades.
• Tracks all ongoing error investigations to insure they are closed with root cause and corrective action.
• Ensure proper tracking of parts used to ensure consignment inventory accuracy.
• Produce Weekly & Quarterly MCBI report/metrics
• Continuously update and modify skills as new equipment, policies and procedures are introduced.
• Should prepare to go site after office house if required by customer

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.

Minimum Experience

• Experience with industrial Cleanroom Automation, or material handling systems.

Other Specific Skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
• Requires good communication skills
• Requires Good Technical Report writing skills
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate within a global team and document technical specifications and reports.
