Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan The Supreme HR Advisory Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Maintenance Engineer to support AMHS equipment at a client site in Penang. You will work as part of a sustaining support team and ensure uptime through proactive troubleshooting and effective problem-solving.

The role requires a mechanical or automation engineering background, strong report-writing skills, and good English for global communication. Some travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related field.
• Experience with industrial automation, cleanroom automation, or material handling systems.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for global communication.
• Strong technical report writing skills (7-step).

Responsibilities

• Maintain AMHS equipment as part of sustaining support team at the customer's facility.
• Identify and resolve daily issues to prevent downtime.
• Lead error recovery, repairs, installations of CIP modifications/upgrades.
• Track ongoing error investigations to ensure root cause and corrective action.
• Ensure proper tracking of parts and consignment inventory accuracy.
• Produce Weekly & Quarterly MCBI reports/metrics.
• Adapt and update skills as new equipment and policies are introduced.
• Be prepared to go on-site after office hours if required by the customer.

Job Description

To maintain company AMHS equipment as a member of the sustaining support team at the customer's facility.

Must proactively look for, identify, and resolve daily issues and prevent downtime.

Responsible for error recovery, equipment repairs and installations of any assigned Continuing Improvement Program (CIP) modifications and upgrades.

Tracks all ongoing error investigations to insure they are closed with root cause and corrective action.

Ensure proper tracking of parts used to ensure consignment inventory accuracy.

Produce Weekly & Quarterly MCBI report/metrics

Continuously update and modify skills as new equipment, policies and procedures are introduced.

Should prepare to go site after office house if required by customer

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.

Experience with industrial Cleanroom Automation, or material handling systems.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)

Requires Good Technical Report writing skills (7- step)

Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate within a global team and document technical specifications and reports.

Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and automation systems.
