Job summary

ATHENS PARK ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control across building and civil infrastructure projects in Malaysia. The role requires Mandarin communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and a proactive, independent work style.

You will manage certifications, prepare tender documents, attend site meetings, monitor budgets, and oversee procurement to ensure design specs and cost plans are met. A degree/diploma/certificate in QS or Building is required.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Building.
• Proficient in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate certification of payment to Trade Contractors.
• Prepare tender documents and tender proposals.
• Attend site meetings and site valuations.
• Prepare contract administration work, monitor cost estimation and project cost control.
• Maintain control of project drawings and records.
• Close final accounts with clients and trade contractors.
• Oversee procurement to ensure compliance with design specification and budget.

Key Responsibilities
