Job summary

Private Advertiser is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tendering and administration for projects in Nusajaya/Senawang. You will prepare and analyse tender costs, compile progress claims and oversee sub‑contractor payments with site valuations.

Requirements include a Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying (MEP) with 1 year+ experience; ITE holders with relevant experience may be considered. Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma with at least 1 year of experience in Quantity Surveying (MEP), preferably in data centre or critical environment.
• ITE holder with relevant years of experience or fresh degree/diploma holder can be considered.
• Familiarity with Authority Requirement and Code of Practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse costing for tenders.
• Prepare, compile and submit progress claim in timely manner including updating payment records.
• Check & prepare progress payment certificates for all sub-contractors including site valuations with supervisors.
• Prepare document for inviting quotations, prepare comparison, tender report.
• Be involved in pre and post contract administration duties including debit notes for backcharges, purchases on behalf of sub-contractors, variations, finalize sub accounts in the period of final measurement.
• Perform risk and value management and cost control.
• Prepare cost estimation, quantity take-off for materials procurement, cost evaluations, prequalification of sub-contractors.
• Assist in contractual matters such as extension of time, contractual correspondences, etc;
• Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, clients, project team, in-house factories etc.
• Attend to project & site meetings.
