Job summary

CNS Construction Sdn Bhd in Melaka is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a full-time basis. You will handle project costing, tender preparation and cost control across multiple sites, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience in building construction is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with measurement, costing and construction contracts.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good numerical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel to project sites when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work on project costing, quantity take-offs and tender preparation.
• Prepare and monitor progress claims throughout the project.
• Assess variations and assist with the preparation of VO submissions.
• Check subcontractor quotations, claims and supporting documents.
• Keep track of project costs and contractual records.
• Assist with final account preparation and settlement.
• Coordinate with the project team, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed works when required.
