Job summary

SINO TCC MALAYSIA SDN BHD in Johor is seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our project team. You will handle quantity surveying, cost estimation, measurement, tendering and project cost control for electrical and MEP works on site.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, 3+ years of relevant electrical/MEP experience, and fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical constructions, MEP or industrial projects.
• Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for electrical and MEP works.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements to ensure accurate measurement and pricing.
• Prepare and evaluate quotations, tenders and subcontractor pricing.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims and payment submissions.
• Verify quantities, materials and completed works for progress claim.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement and subcontractor teams on commercial matters.
• Assists with contract administration, cost control and project documentation.
• Support commercial activities for electrical works in construction and industrial projects.
• Identify costs discrepancies, potential variations and commercial issues during project execution.
