Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a trainee in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management to assist with cost estimates, BOQ, and tender documents. You will support price comparisons, budget tracking, and contract administration while coordinating with suppliers and the project team.

Site visits may be required to gain hands-on experience. The role offers a monthly allowance and mentorship in luxury retail interior fit-out projects, helping you develop practical skills in a real ID and high-end brand

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Basic knowledge of construction/interior fit-out works is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and quotations
• Support in sourcing and comparing material and subcontractor prices
• Assist in project cost monitoring and budget tracking
• Help in preparing tender documents and contract administration
• Coordinate with project team, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Perform site visits when required
