Job summary

EFCT Konsult is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Junior Quantity Surveyor to manage QS operations on projects as the owner's representative, including take-offs, BQ preparation, cost estimation, tender document preparation, and evaluation of variations.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The role requires English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin when engaging with clients, with travel as needed. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Glodon and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Experience in pre- and post-contract administration including assessment of contractual risks
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties in English, BM and Mandarin when required
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Responsible for QS operations on projects as owner's representative (take-off, BQ prep, materials sourcing, tender documents, cost estimation, progress claims)
• Analyze tender submissions and prepare tender reports
• Carry out measurements, site valuations, and assessment of variation orders
• Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and related parties
• Establish tendering procedures and evaluate contractors for prequalification
• Provide advice to management on quantity surveying matters
