Job summary

Honest Renovation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with strong cost management and contract knowledge to support construction projects. The role requires evaluating costs, preparing estimates, and liaising with stakeholders across sites and offices.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and candidates must be able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Travel to project sites for measurements and reporting is expected as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or architecture preferred
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and project control techniques
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret drawings and specs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Able travel to project sites for measurements and reporting

Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying potential savings opportunities
• Preparing progress and final accounts, variation orders and claims
• Advising the project team on contractual and commercial matters
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
• Providing cost-effective solutions and recommendations to improve project profitability
