Nakakumi Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage costs for construction projects in Malaysia. You will handle feasibility studies, cost planning and contract administration to minimize expenses while upholding quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing estimates and budgets, evaluating bids, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring costs stay within budget. Travel to sites may be required.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in construction is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Bills of Quantities, tendering and contract administration.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel and AutoCAD; QS software is an asset.
• Good analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• English, Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities and project budgets.
• Prepare and evaluate quotations, tenders and contract documents.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure stays within budget.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certificates and variation orders.
• Measure quantities and verify work completed on site.
• Coordinate with the project team, consultants and subcontractors on cost-related matters.
• Maintain proper project cost records and documentation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
