Job summary

Multi Saver Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with retail interior fit-out experience to manage costs from estimates to final accounts, ensuring value for money and compliance with design intent. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, review drawings, negotiate with suppliers, monitor costs, and certify payments, coordinating with designers, project managers and site teams.

Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying with 2–5 years' experience in interior/retail projects, and

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying.
• 2–5 years of experience in QS, interior fit-out, renovation, retail projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, cost saving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for interior design projects.
• Review design drawings, specifications, and material selections to prepare accurate BOQ.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims, progress payments, and final accounts.
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and site teams to ensure budgets align with design and client expectations.
• Assist in tender preparation and contract administration.
