A&A Concept Design & Contract in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing/Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, tendering, and procurement across interior design projects. You will work with design and accounts teams to ensure accurate documentation and contracted costs.
Responsibilities include pre- and post-contract activities, sourcing items for tenders, monitoring deliveries, and preparing cost proposals. Diploma/degree in purchasing or QS is required.

This position is multi-faceted, where you will be working closely with the Design Team and Accounts Team to ensure regularity with client documentation, invoicing and contracts - while adhering to the Design needs and requirements of the Design Team and our Clients.
Assist Project Managers to prepare pre & post contract activities.
Work closely with internal teams such as the Design Team for design specifications and Production/Site Supervisors for project materials to understand and interpret the project scope for accurate cost estimation.
Sourcing and purchasing items required in the tender, while monitoring & controlling project costing, and issuing purchase orders.
Monitoring on the delivery of goods purchased as per date required to meet the timeline of all projects.
Monitoring on a project's progress claims, variation order, omission works and final account.
Ensure proper filling of purchasing documentation records from start to the end of each project.
Knowledge in preparing cost proposals for new projects and meticulous on details is a must.
Knowledge in interior design industry or familiar with interior decoration work is an added advantage.
Verify variation orders, progress claims by sub-contractors and ensure final account settlement based on agreed quotations are carried out.
Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Quantity Survey or other business related field.
Knowledge of SST implementation and processes.
Possess good interpersonal communications skills, meticulous, aggressive, initiative and able to work under minimum supervision.
Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office application, knowledge of AutoCAD and experience in SQL software will be an added advantage.
Preference to candidates with minimum 2 years of working experience in the interior design industry.
