Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a professional to prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities, and tender documents for construction projects. The role involves material quantity take-off, cost analysis for new works and variation orders, and reviewing progress claims and final accounts with contractors and subcontractors.

You will monitor project costs, assist in contracts preparation, and produce progress and financial reports for management. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and tender documents for construction projects.
• Perform material quantity take-off based on construction drawings and specifications.
• Assist in quotation preparation and cost analysis for new works and variation orders (VO).
• Review and verify progress claims, interim payments, and final accounts from contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure compliance with the approved budget.
• Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and claim documents.
• Prepare progress and financial reports for management review.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
