China Construction Engineering (S.E.A) Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and administer contracts in a dynamic construction environment.
You will review quantities, prepare progress claims, handle variations, and close final accounts while coordinating with project teams and suppliers. English and Mandarin communication is a plus.
Manage and control project costs to ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget.
Administer and manage project contracts, including reviewing contract terms, obligations, and compliance.
Review and verify quantities of work and ensure accurate measurement for project valuation.
Prepare, submit, and monitor progress claims in accordance with contract requirements.
Manage variations and claims, including evaluation, negotiation, and documentation of variation orders and extension of time claims.
Handle project final accounts and settlement, ensuring all financial matters are properly closed upon project completion.
Conduct cost analysis and prepare regular cost reports to monitor project financial performance.
Identify potential cost risks and provide recommendations to optimize project costs.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on commercial and contractual matters.

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
Familiar with BOQ, IPC, VO, and Final Account processes.
Good knowledge of PAM contract conditions and contract administration.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and cost control skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and QS-related software.
Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin will be an added advantage.
