Jora Malaysia is seeking a diligent Quantity Surveyor to support pre-contract and post-contract activities across electrical and solar projects. You will prepare enquiries, RFQs, tender documents, and cost estimates while coordinating with subcontractors and clients.
A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.

Prepare and issue enquiries, requests for quotations (RFQ), and tender documents to subcontractors and suppliers.
Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project costing for electrical and solar projects.
Prepare tender documents, contracts, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and other related commercial documentation.
Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders, quotations, and project proposals.
Follow up with clients, consultants, and relevant parties on submitted tenders and quotations to obtain tender status, project award information, and feedback.
Maintain and update tender tracking records, including submission dates, tender outcomes, and project award status.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, technical information, and commercial clarifications.
Monitor project costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Assist Project Manager and Project Director in pre-contract and post-contract administration matters.
Attend site visits, site measurements, project meetings, and tender briefings when required.
Maintain proper records and filing of quotations, contracts, claims, correspondence, and project-related documents.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Experience in Quantity Surveying, Electrical, Solar, or Construction industry will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of tendering, costing, and contract administration is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
