Job summary

Insulet Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Training Specialist to drive hands-on training and maintain up-to-date procedures within a fast-paced, electronics and medical manufacturing environment.

You will deliver training across production lines, coordinate OJT and certification, maintain training records in Workday, and partner with cross-functional teams to sustain GMP compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing industry (electronic or medical).
• Ability to present training material to individuals and groups.
• Experience in OJT execution, competency assessment and certification processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to plan, allocate, and optimize trainer headcount across production lines.
• Must be able to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Delivers training to manufacturing employees focusing on procedures and process improvements.
• Maintains training records and tracks progress and completion.
• Notifies supervisor about discrepancies to ensure safety and training standards.
• Coordinates cross-training and schedules OJT based on priorities.
• Ensures operators meet competency before certification.
• Uploads and maintains transcript records in Workday.
• Supports onboarding for new hires in quality roles.
• Collaborates with cross-functional departments to enhance training effectiveness.
