Indium Corporation, a global leader in electronics materials, seeks a Quality Technician in Penang to inspect incoming materials, in-process items and finished goods. You will operate test equipment, document results and generate quality certifications to support our manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate, diploma or graduate degree required.
• 2 years of college/technical school or 2 years related work experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Word.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with math and statistical concepts.
• Knowledge of quality standards and statistical concepts.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing for acceptance of incoming materials and production materials.
• Enter data into quality system databases to document test results and certifications.
• Follow written operating procedures and generate quality reports.
• Operate equipment and read simple drawings/diagrams.
• Maintain quality hold cages and containment of non-conforming material.
• Collaborate with technical support, manufacturing and quality engineers.
