Job summary

Thong Industries Berhad in Kedah is seeking a detail‑driven Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products and materials meet our quality standards and specifications.

You will run tests, document results, support audits, and help drive improvements. Strong reading of blueprints and manuals, plus attention to detail and teamwork, are essential for timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, food science, or related field.
Experience in production or quality control is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and manuals is crucial.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products and materials meet quality standards and specifications.
Conduct tests on products and materials to identify defects or deviations.
Record inspection results, document any issues found, and update relevant forms or reports.
Ensure all products and processes comply with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
Support internal and external quality audits.
Make recommendations for improving production processes and product quality.
Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment for inspections.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met and deadlines are achieved.
