Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Calibration Technician to manage the calibration, maintenance, and control of Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment (IMTE) to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance with quality standards.

You will coordinate equipment calibration schedules, maintain calibration records, liaise with external calibration service providers, and ensure all measuring equipment is fit for use in manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as Calibration Technician/Coordinator.
• Good organizational skills.
• Experience drafting reports and data collation.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of IMTE Tools and Equipment
• Ensure measurement accuracy and reliability
• Work with external calibration vendors to obtain quotes and manage handling of tools/equipment sent for calibration
• Verify calibration certificate for accuracy

Responsible for managing the calibration, maintenance, and control of Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment (IMTE) to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance with quality standards. The Calibration Technician also assists in equipment troubleshooting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
