Job summary

IoTronix Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant IQA Engineer to support the quality team in ensuring raw materials, components, and PCBA meet specifications. You will assist in managing quality issues from incoming materials through final product release and assist in maintaining SOPs per IPC-A-610 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Assist IQA engineer to manage quality issues for raw materials, components, and parts to comply with specifications.
• Assist Quality engineer to manage quality issues for in-process inspections across production stages (PCB placement, soldering, reflow).
• Monitor inspection data and prepare quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SOPs and IPC-A-610 compliance across production processes.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Ensure PCBAs meet customer requirements and ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits and present findings to management.
• Collaborate with production to improve process quality and efficiency.

Job description

Assist IQA engineer to manage quality issue for raw materials, components, and parts (e.g., resistors, capacitors, ICs) for compliance with specifications.

Assist Quality engineer to manage quality issue for in-process inspections throughout the production stages of PCBA, including component placement, soldering, and reflow soldering, to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Assist Quality engineer to follow up, record, monitoring and prepare report during NPI (New Product Introduction) run.

Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry standards such as IPC-A-610 for quality and reliability. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality data.

Assist in identifying the root causes of quality issues and support the implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to address recurring defects.

Ensure all PCBAs meet customer requirements, internal standards, and industry certifications (e.g., IPC standards, ISO 9001).

Work closely with production teams to communicate quality issues and support the implementation of solutions to ensure production efficiency and quality.

Conduct internal audits and quality checks, generating reports on quality status and identifying potential areas for improvement. Present findings to management as necessary.

Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize production efficiency.

Verify the quality of product and ensure that the product complies with the specified requirements prior to release to the next process.
