Job summary

Inter Island Group in Kampong Tampoi, Johor, is seeking a QA professional to liaise with customers on quality requirements, design inspection and audit plans, and train QA inspectors to perform audits. The role includes driving quality improvements and conducting suppliers' audits, with responsibility for security-focused QA tasks and vulnerability assessments within internal teams.

The candidate will have an engineering degree or diploma, at least 2 years in a PCBA manufacturing environment,

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing /Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in PCBA manufacturing environment
• Knowledge in ISO Quality Management System
• Able to interpret Statistical Process Control and GRR

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers on quality requirements and ensure all customer quality requirements are met
• Design QA inspection and process audit plans as per customer requirements
• Train and certify QA Inspector to perform QA Inspection and process audit according to procedure
• Establish effective quality report system and drive quality improvement program; conduct suppliers' audits
• Perform tasks assigned by QA Manager as needed
• Execute security-focused QA tasks to ensure applications and systems meet high-security standards such as vulnerability assessments and collaboration with internal teams to address issues

• Responsible for executing security-focused quality assurance tasks to ensure that applications and systems meet high-security standards. This role involves performing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing. and working closely with internal teams to identify and address security issues.
