Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation in Malaysia seeks a QA Supervisor to oversee daily quality activities, ensuring product and process quality meet customer and company requirements. You will monitor quality performance, contain abnormalities, and escalate issues as needed.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Production on root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continual quality improvement to shape a safer, more reliable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience using MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Experience in semiconductor back-end processes (e.g. Die Bond, Wire Bond, Mold, Trim/Form).

Responsibilities

• Manage and allocate manpower to support daily QA activities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs with step-by-step instructions and control points.
• Monitor quality performance and contain abnormalities in a timely manner.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions and continual quality improvement.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

The QA Supervisor is responsible for managing daily quality activities to ensure product and process quality meet customer and company requirements. The role monitors quality performance, identifies and contains production abnormalities. Ensures timely escalation and resolution. The QA Supervisor works closely with Engineering and Production on root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continual quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and allocate manpower effectively to support daily QA activities. Ensure all required quality check items are performed promptly and according to documented requirements.
• Develop and maintain clear and detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with step-by-step instructions, illustrations, and key control points.
• Monitor quality performance and take timely action to contain abnormalities.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions and continual quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge in computer (MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
• Experience in semiconductor back-end processes (Eg. Die Bond, Wire Bond, Mold, Trim/Form, etc) are encouraged.

Soft Skills

• Good leadership & team management skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of organization.
• Provide guidance to inspectors to enhance job efficiency.
