Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Team Leader, Operations Quality to supervise SMT manufacturing lines and plan shift coverage for Quality Inspectors. You will review defects, prepare yield reports, and drive containment and permanent corrective actions.

You will provide direct supervision and hands-on training to Quality Support staff, monitor performance and attendance, and authorize line stops for non-conforming conditions. Collaboration with SMT Engineers and Production Supervisors is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years SMT manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor in engineering or relevant field.
• Experience with RCCA and CAPA.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan shift working hours, line coverage, and overtime schedules for Quality Inspectors.
• Review defects identified by Quality Inspectors, prepare yield/defect reports, and drive containment and corrective actions.
• Provide direct supervision and training to Quality Support employees.
• Monitor performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies for Quality Inspectors.
• Authorize line stops for non-conforming conditions and escalate critical quality incidents.
