Job summary

Well-Tech Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Quality Manager in Bayan Lepas, Penang to organize daily management of the Quality Department and ensure final product quality. You will promote the effective implementation of the quality management system and lead cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include reporting to General Manager, coordinating audits, and driving continuous improvement, including 6S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years quality work experience in manufacturing
• including at least 5 years in a management role
• Strong administrative and leadership能力
• Familiar with national laws and local policies
• Familiar with customer product standards and potential requirements
• Understand market trends and competitors in the sector
• Proficient in quality management techniques and QMS operation
• Proficient with office software and EH&S basics
• Integrity, teamwork, professionalism, and high resilience
• Good communication in Malay, English and Mandarin as needed

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the Quality Department and resource provision
• Ensure final products meet customer requirements
• Promote and implement the quality management system
• Assess work quality and efficiency of department management
• Set and update departmental quality objectives and monitor completion
• Prepare monthly quality reports and conduct quality meetings
• Coordinate customer audits and implement improvements
• Oversee integrated management system: quality, environment, OHS
• Lead 6S activities and ensure orderly operations
• Complete other tasks assigned by superiors

Organize daily management of the Quality Department, be responsible for the final product quality of the company, and promote the smooth implementation of the quality management system in the Quality Department.

Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for daily management of the Quality Department, formulate departmental rules and regulations, and provide required resources for the department




• Ensure the company's final products meet customer requirements




• Ensure the smooth promotion and implementation of the quality management system in the department




• Assess the work quality and efficiency of management personnel in the department




• Decompose the company's quality objectives, formulate and update departmental work objectives in a timely manner, and assess the completion of all objectives




• Prepare monthly quality reports, hold regular quality meetings, report the company's quality operation status to the General Manager and other department managers, and require departments with operational deficiencies to carry out improvements




• Receive customer audits and complete improvement requirements proposed by customers




• Be responsible for the department's work related to the integrated management system of quality, environment, occupational health and safety, and ensure the effective operation of the departmental subsystem




• Be responsible for the department's 6S work and ensure the orderly operation and development of the department's 6S management




• Complete other tasks assigned by superiors

Requirements

• College degree or above in Business Administration, Quality Management, Science and Engineering or related majors




• At least 8 years of quality work experience in manufacturing enterprises, including at least 5 years of management experience




• Strong sense of principle, excellent administrative management ability, strong problem analysis, organization and coordination skills




• Familiar with national laws and regulations and local policies




• Familiar with customer product standards and potential requirements




• Grasp industry and market development trends and understand the situation of main competitors




• Proficient in quality management techniques and the operation of quality management systems




• Skilled in using office software and basic knowledge of environmental, safety and health management




• Integrity, frankness, maturity, open-mindedness, self-confidence, high professionalism, good teamwork spirit




• Strong observation and adaptability, superior leadership skills, able to work under high pressure




• Good communicate in Malay, English and Mandarin as need to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
