RIGOL Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform IQC, IPQC, and OQC tasks to ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer specs.

The role involves documenting results, supporting root cause analysis, and maintaining ISO 9001 compliance across production lines. Responsibilities include inspection of incoming materials, in-process checks, final outbound inspection, and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• SPM / Diploma / Technical Certificate in Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control (preferred).
• Familiar with electronic components and PCBA inspection.
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610 preferred).
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Able to read drawings, BOM, and specifications.
• Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word).
• Good attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and components visually and functionally against specifications.
• Record inspection results and ensure proper documentation.
• Review disposition for rejected materials and coordinate with suppliers.
• Monitor in-process quality checkpoints and segregate nonconforming products.
• Support containment and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Perform final outgoing inspection before shipment and verify labeling and traceability.
• Maintain inspection records and update quality data and reports.
• Assist root cause analysis and CAPA activities.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and audit readiness.

Job description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspection, testing, and verification activities to ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. The role supports manufacturing operations by identifying nonconformities, assisting in root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

Perform visual and functional inspection of incoming materials and components.

Verify materials against specifications, drawings, and approved samples.

Record inspection results and maintain proper documentation.

Review the disposition for rejected materials.

Coordinate with suppliers and SQE for quality issues.

2. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

Monitor critical process parameters and quality checkpoints.

Identify and segregate nonconforming products.

Support containment and corrective actions to address quality issue.

3. Outgoing Quality Control (OQC)

Perform final inspection before shipment.

Ensure products meet customer specifications and packaging requirements.

Verify labeling, documentation, traceability and inspection record.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain inspection records accurately and timely.

Update quality data, checklists, and inspection reports.

Support data collection for quality analysis (yield, defect trends, close loop of corrective actions.).

5. Problem Solving & Improvement

Assist in root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).

Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

6. Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 procedures.

Support internal and external audits.

Ensure safety and ESD control requirements in Production

Qualifications & Requirements

SPM / Diploma / Technical Certificate in Engineering or related field.

1-3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control (preferred).

Familiar with electronic components and PCBA inspection.
