Job summary

Phabritek Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to perform IQC, OQC and IPQC inspections according to SOPs, ensuring compliance and timely feedback.

The role involves inspecting production lines, materials, appearance and performance, recording issues, and managing issuance and recovery of items such as rubber and glue. Candidates should have at least SPM/O-Levels or a technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; 1+ year in electronics manufacturing preferred;

Qualifications

• SPM/O-Levels or equivalent technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• More than 1 year of working experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in using computers and common software.

Responsibilities

• Perform IQC and OQC inspections according to the inspection plan and SOP.
• Provide prompt feedback on issues found during material and outgoing inspections.
• Conduct IPQC inspections on the production line to meet SOP and record issues.
• Verify daily items for compliance, manage issuance and recovery of items (rubber and glue).
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Job description

Perform IQC and OQC inspections according to the requirements of the inspection plan and standard SOP, including prompt feedback any issues found during material inspection and outgoing inspection.

Conduct regular IPQC inspections according to the inspection plan, requirements, and items (eg. production line, operations, product appearance and performance to meet SOP, record issues found etc.)

Ensure rubber mixing personnel meets the regulations; glue storage and preparation is following the requirements, Record the storage and removal of glue according to requirements. These should be checked regularly to match and update relevant records.

Verify all the items prepared daily according to requirements to confirm its compliance. Provide correct and qualified items when required on the production line, and manage and record the issuance and recovery of items (especially rubber and glue etc.), to ensure complete and effective recovery of items.

Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Qualifications Requirements:

SPM, O-Levels, or an equivalent technical diploma in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering).

More than 1 year of working experience in electronics manufacturing industry is a plus, fresh graduates are welcome.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin language will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Proficient in using computers, MS Office software, and other commonly used computer software.
