Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia, an established surface finishing company in Johor Bahru, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality team and ensure project delivery.

You will develop and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems, supervise audits, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement with Six Sigma tools.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in quality management, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a quality management role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and industry best practices.
• Experience in handling customer complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Proficiency in quality assurance tools such as Six Sigma, 8D, and SPC.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement in quality and efficiency.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to maintain certifications such as ISO 9001.
• Analyze data and generate reports on quality performance, defects, and corrective actions.
• Lead a team of quality control inspectors, providing training and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to electroplating processes.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Develop and enforce quality control procedures and inspection criteria.
