Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, electronic, manufacturing, industrial, mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
• Quality engineering experience in electronics/electrical/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and NCR and CAPA processes.
• Practical experience with root cause analysis and structured problem solving (8D/5-Why).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs and test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, assess and develop suppliers, including audits, onboarding, approval maintenance and performance reviews.
• Define supplier quality requirements and lead part qualification, sample approvals, PPAP or FAI activities for new products and engineering changes.
• Lead investigations into supplier, internal and customer nonconformances using 8D, 5-Why and other structured root cause methods.
• Manage NCR, MRB, CAPA, containment, disposition and effectiveness verification while reducing scrap and rework.
• Act as a quality interface for customers, including quality reviews, returns, corrective actions and compliance documentation.
• Maintain and improve the quality management system, support internal and external audits, and develop procedures, work instructions and control plans.
• Facilitate APQP, PFMEA, control plan, MSA and SPC activities for new product introductions, transfers and process changes.
• Use quality data and Lean or Six Sigma methods to improve first-pass yield, reduce variation and strengthen right-first-time performance.
