Job summary

Rianlon Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Safety & Logistics Officer to implement safety, environmental and occupational health regulations within our storage and logistics scope.

You will oversee hazard identification, training and drills, and ensure compliance across raw materials, finished goods, tank-farm and warehouse operations. The role requires a Bachelor’s in a chemical discipline, at least 1 year in the chemical sector, and strong skills in MS Office, data analysis, and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or above in Chemical related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in chemical industry.
• Understand warehouse and logistics workflows and hazard/risk control.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong writing and data analysis abilities.
• Strong organization, communication, coordination, and judgment; good presentation and learning ability.

Responsibilities

• Organize periodic safety training and emergency drills.
• Supervise loading/unloading, storage and transfer of raw materials; oversee finished goods handling and warehouse conditions.
• Monitor tank-farm operations; enforce tank-truck SOP and complete Tank-Farm Safety Patrol Record.
• Supervise 5S in warehouse; assign clear responsibilities to staff.
• Support team building for storage & logistics; maintain discipline and orderly operations.

Job description

Report to Storage & Logistics team, Planning & Operation Department. Responsible for implementation of safety, environmental & occupational health regulation within storage & logistics scope. Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, hazard inspection & rectification, organize safety training & drill; supervise site safety for raw-material, finished-goods, tank-farm and Class A/B warehouse.

Key responsibilities

Organize periodic safety training and emergency drill.

Supervise loading-unloading, storage and transfer for raw-material; supervise finished-goods handling; monitor Class A/B warehouse condition to ensure proper material stacking, labelling, packaging and housekeeping.

Monitor by-product site management; supervise tank-farm loading-unloading operation, enforce regular patrol, verify compliance with tank-truck SOP and complete Tank-Farm Safety Patrol Record.

Supervise warehouse 5S management and assign clear responsibility to relevant personnel.

Support team building for storage & logistics group; enforce discipline and maintain orderly operation.

Complete other ad-hoc assignments from superior.

About you

Bachelor Degree and above, major in Chemical related discipline.

Familiar with chemical industry, minimum 1-year relevant working experience.

Understand warehouse & logistics workflow; competent for hazard identification and risk control.

Proficient in MS Office; good document writing and data analysis capability.

Strong skill in organization, communication, coordination and judgment; good presentation and learning ability.

Fluent in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia for working communication.

Work in office & plant site; occasional travel required.
