Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a quality control inspector to support manufacturing and oil & gas related processes. You will read blueprints, operate precision measurement equipment, and perform incoming, in-process and final inspections to ensure conformance to specifications.

The role requires 2-3 years in manufacturing or oil & gas, plus a certificate in manufacturing processes (Quality) or a related vocational diploma. The position offers benefits and a structured QA environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate in manufacturing processes with a quality focus.
• Vocational certificate or Diploma related to manufacturing.
• 2–3 years experience in manufacturing or oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle and set up precision measuring and testing equipment against required standards.
• Read manufacturing blueprints and schematics for inspection requirements.
• Carry out quality inspection (incoming, in-process and final) activities.
• Perform product and process testing (e.g hardness, titration, weight test, FAT, SIT, etc) activities.
• Perform inspection for consumable products (e.g welding electrodes, wire, flux, shielding gas and cutting inserts).
• Perform inspection for third party witnessing (customer rep, auditors, licensor rep) as per QA plan.
• Verify that production process is carried out in accordance to work order during quality inspection.
• Verify marking and identification of products for traceability.
• Verify heat number of products (production, receiving and/or outgoing).
• Identify inspection and test status of non-conforming products that failed surveillance inspection.
• Verify and endorse the inspection and/or testing records.
• Create Certificate of Conformance (COC) for product / completed work order for delivery
