Supervise and control all incoming material, process, and outgoing product quality and drive continuous quality improvement.

Job Requirements
  • People Management
    Lead the quality control and quality assurance department, including failure analysis, SI testing; allocate and balance work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback; mentor, develop and motivate team members; guide resolve tough people/functional issues in the team; submit manpower applications; interview candidates and provide feedback to achieve the section performance target; retain and develop key talent. Assure compliance to requirements and optimization of process capabilities to ensure product quality, customer service, and cost-effectiveness. Led the team to reduce DPPM, customer complaints, customer returned values, and quality costs.
  • Procedure & Policy
    Check the department policies, initiate policy changes, prepare related materials, and follow up and monitor policy execution to ensure procedures and policies align with corporate standards.
  • Budgeting
    Communicate with functional teams and prepare department budget and work plan annually; compare expenses with the budget monthly; summarize results, analyze and report to department director to propose a practical department budget and effective control. Work with the management team to develop a quality plan, set annual goals, build a strong implementation plan, and monitor target achievement. Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
  • Quality Control
    Lead the incoming material section and supplier management, facilitate quality improvement, and follow up on improvement results. Monitor operations to comply with working instructions, identify potential risks and take necessary actions. Monitor the outgoing product quality control to ensure resources are properly allocated and that inspectors understand and execute working instructions; monitor training conducted. Monitor on-site application of quality tools to ensure effective quality control and meet quality requirements.
  • Customer Complaint
    Monitor customer complaints analysis and follow-up corrective actions. Initiate and organize monthly quality meetings to review quality issues and facilitate improvement actions. Negotiate with customers about quality issue resolution. Conduct regular visits to customers and maintain good relationships. Monitor the customer complaint follow-up actions and feedback from the system in China. Evaluate the RMA and follow up RMA disposition to timely solve customer complaint issues in a cost-effective way and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Issue
    Guide engineers to solve on-site quality issues and take preventive actions; help solve cross-functional issues and evaluate balance among quality, delivery, and cost to resolve issues timely and prevent similar cases. Lead problem-solving of supplier-related defects, supplier improvement initiatives, analyze manufacturing and supply chain quality data, and lead problem-solving activities.
  • Quality Improvement
    Initiate and monitor the monthly cross-audit, review results, and follow up corrective actions; review the department 6 Sigma improvement monthly; monitor engineers conduct daily quality improvement to drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Reporting
    Prepare operation performance reports and send to GM. Collect and analyze quality-related data; report to DND BU Quality. Ensure team timely and accurate reporting to management and related parties.
