RecruitFirst Sdn Bhd seeks a Quality Control Manager for a 6-month contract to lead inspection and testing across production cycles, ensuring material quality and maintaining documentation. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree (or technical degree) and 3+ years of ASME Codes experience, with Lean/Six Sigma and ISO 9001 familiarity considered a plus.

Strong reporting and analytical skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technical degree is required.
• 3+ years’ experience related to ASME Codes for Pressure Vessels preferred.
• Familiar with Lean, Six Sigma and ISO 9001 is a plus.
• Safe work environment understanding of Pneumatic Pressure Testing.
• Experience in inspection or quality technician/specialist in ASME pressure vessel and process piping.
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC Sections II, V, VIII and IX preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Strong reporting, data compilation, and communication with other departments.

Responsabilidades

• Directs personnel in receiving, inspection and testing across production cycles.
• Oversee and collect quality documentation throughout manufacturing.
• Manage calibration program for inspection, measuring and testing equipment.
• Ensure finished goods meet company and customer standards.
• Report inspection results and issue NCRs with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with facilities for audits and ISO standards.
• Inspect welded sub-assemblies at ASME hold points.
• Plan and improve workflow in quality control processes.
• Interface with manufacturing to coordinate required inspection agencies.

Educación

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Technical degree (four-year college/university)
