Job summary

Flex is seeking a Quality Supervisor for the Mechanical Plant in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will lead quality control efforts, assign staff, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards across stamping, welding, and machining processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least 3 years in quality control/assurance in mechanical manufacturing. You will collaborate with production, HR, and suppliers to drive corrective actions and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with stamping, assembly, welding, powder coating, machining or metal fabrication processes.
• Hands-on experience with measurement equipment (Caliper, Micrometer, High Gauge, Profile Projector, CMM).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS requirements, audits, NCR, corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Assigns employees to maximize quality control goals.
• Supervises shift inspectors and reviews quality reports.
• Interfaces with HR and finance for personnel issues.
• Conducts data research and implements corrective actions.
• Performs process and sub-factory audits and ensures procedures are followed.
• Trains shift guidance in quality processes and supports internal/external customers.
