Qualifications

About the role
Sunrise Communication (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing operations in Senai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards before they reach our customers. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, testing, and verification of products throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company specifications. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and protecting the integrity of our product line.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and components against established quality specifications and standards
• Conduct routine testing and measurements using calibrated equipment and quality control instruments
• Document inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards in compliance with record-keeping procedures
• Identify defective products and materials, and report findings to production supervisors and management
• Perform sampling inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process to monitor product quality
• Verify that production processes meet established quality criteria and safety standards
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate and detailed quality control logs and reports
• Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends and areas for quality enhancement

What we’re looking for

• Candidates who are able to communicate in Chinese (spoken) are preferred, as the role requires communication with Chinese-speaking colleagues and management.
• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection methods, and testing techniques
• Proficiency in using quality control instruments such as calipers, micrometres, gauges, and testing equipment
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and deviations accurately
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards documentation
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production and management teams
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills for data recording and analysis
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards in the workplace
• A relevant qualification in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or Engineering is preferred
