Job summary

C.S.YAP Group of Companies in Malaysia seeks a Quality Control Engineer to drive quality across all manufacturing stages. You will develop and implement QC procedures, conduct inspections and testing, and document findings to ensure conformity with ISO standards and customer requirements.

This role collaborates with production to improve processes, train operators, manage calibration records, and lead CAPA activities to reduce waste and elevate product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in establishing and following QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QC procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Perform inspections, tests, and measurements on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues and product non-conformances.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct routine and special testing in alignment with product specifications.
• Document inspection findings and create detailed quality reports.
• Maintain records of calibration and inspection equipment.
• Work with the production team to improve manufacturing processes.
• Provide training to operators on quality requirements and best practices.
• Communicate with suppliers to address material quality issues.
• Analyze quality data and identify trends to improve processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Contribute to process improvement projects to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
