Job summary

Maxworth Minerals invites applications for a plant operations supervisor role based in Klang. You will oversee day-to-day plant activities, allocate manpower, coordinate shifts, maintain housekeeping and ensure workplace discipline.

Experience in a minerals processing environment is essential. You will also prepare and verify COAs, segregate non-conforming products, and uphold ISO 9001:2015 documentation, inspection records, SOP adherence and calibration of test equipment to guarantee quality

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a plant, production or operations supervisory role in minerals processing, quarrying, cement, foundry, chemicals or similar heavy environment.
• Experience or exposure to QC / QA functions is preferred but not mandatory where supervision experience is strong.
• Experience supervising a mixed local and foreign workforce is advantageous.
• Klang / Port Klang / Selangor area preferred for retention.
• Computer literacy with MS Excel, email, and data entry in CRM / ERP systems.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English; able to communicate with a mixed local and foreign workforce.
• Malaysian citizen or holder of a valid right to work in Malaysia.

• Minimum 3–5 years in a plant, production or operations supervisory role — minerals processing, quarrying, cement, foundry, chemicals or a comparable heavy processing environment.
• Exposure to material or product testing, or to a QC / QA function, is preferred but not mandatory where plant supervision experience is strong.
• Experience supervising a mixed local and foreign workforce is an advantage.
• Candidates from the Klang / Port Klang / Selangor area preferred for retention.
• Diploma or Degree in Mineral / Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Applied Science or a related discipline. Strong practical plant experience will be considered in place of a formal qualification.
• Computer literate — MS Excel, email, and comfortable entering data into CRM / ERP systems.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English; able to communicate with a mixed local and foreign workforce.
• Malaysian citizen or holder of a valid right to work in Malaysia.
