Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• At least 2 years in a laboratory environment, preferably with construction materials knowledge.
• Familiarity with ISO lab standards and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lab personnel on lab operation, maintenance and calibration of lab equipment, usage and storage of chemicals, and safety.
• Produce laboratory monthly reports to provide an overview of lab operations.
• Ensure control parameters of processes and raw materials are within prescribed limits.
• Carry out in-process inspections, testing and preparation of standard solutions as required.
• Analyze test results to determine conformity.
• Perform daily checks on raw material quality and coordinate with Operations to mitigate impacts on manufacturing.
• Co-manage lab expenses within the budget.
• Send raw material/cement samples for testing by RDC/external parties.
• Generate charts and benchmarking reports with analyses to meet quality objectives such as CON-CQ.
• Respond to audits and inquiries from internal and external customers.
