Qualifications

• Minimum STPM, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plastic, rubber, or silicone mechanical structures is advantageous.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product testing during R&D stage or engineering changes and prepare testing reports.
• Monitor the production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions early.
• Liaise with Production and Tooling to resolve product quality issues.
• Prepare ISO procedures and work instructions and ensure compliance by all parties.
• Handle customer complaints including root cause analysis and corrective actions with production.
• Prepare customer complaint analysis reports.
• Troubleshoot, report, and highlight variance/defects.
• Maintain and operate the QA laboratory in line with internal testing requirements.
• Report major quality, environment, OH&S non-conformities and ISO MR.
• Implement preventive actions for quality, environment and OH&S controls.

Job description

Founded in 1984 in Singapore, Fitson specializes in producing high quality baby and mother care products for well-established international baby brands. Fitson provides a full scope of services which encompasses the initial stages of design conceptualisation, tool design & fabrication, product innovation, manufacturing to complete packaging and delivery.

What do you need do in this role:

• To conduct product testing during R&D stage or any engineering change. Preparation of testing report after testing completed.
• Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible.
• To liaise closely with Production and Tooling Department to find solution of product quality issue.
• To prepare the ISO’s procedure and work instructions and all parties are comply to it.
• To handle customer complaints, including conduct root causes analysis and work together with production team for corrective actions.
• To prepare customer complaint analysis report.
• Trouble shooting, reporting and highlighting variance / defects.
• Maintain and execute QA laboratory in line with internal product testing requirements.
• To report major quality, environment, OH&S non-conformity and ISO MR.
• Implement preventive action for quality, environment and OH&S controls.

What do you need to have to be successful in this role:

• Minimum STPM / Diploma / Advanced /Degree holders or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of plastic, rubber, silicone mechanical structure will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills including strong written and verbal communication skills.
