Job summary

VS Industry Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quality Assistant Manager to lead quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations. You will drive QC processes, oversee inspection plans, and coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve quality issues.

You will mentor the quality team, support NPI and process validation, apply 8D/RCA/CAPA methodologies, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and the company's code of conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in EMS/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 27001 and RBA code of conduct.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out QC activities per established procedures and standards.
• Oversee execution of inspection plans and ensure checklist/spec compliance.
• Monitor quality performance, analyze trends, and drive improvements.
• Liaise with internal teams and customers on quality issues.
• Lead, train, and motivate the quality team to achieve objectives.
• Support NPI, process validation and improvement of high defect rates.
• Drive structured problem-solving (8D, RCA, CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with management systems and code of conduct.
