Job summary

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products and processes comply with customer specifications, engineering requirements, and industry standards.
• Drive quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing lifecycle by preventing defects, reducing process variation, and ensuring only conforming products are released to customers.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001, API Spec Q1, customer-specific requirements, and other standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, inspection plans, and work instructions to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and product quality through systematic process controls, statistical techniques, and data-driven analysis.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and quality documentation to ensure manufacturing compliance.
• Investigate product and process non-conformities using 8D, 5 Why Analysis, Ishikawa, CAPA; implement corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance process capability.
• Utilize quality tools including SPC, FMEA, MSA, Cp/Cpk.
• Validate manufacturing and inspection processes through FAI, Process Qualification, OQ, PQ, and Inspection Method Validation.
• Establish acceptance criteria and quality characteristics for new and existing products; ensure objective evidence is properly documented to support product conformity.
• Coordinate customer quality requirements throughout project execution; review customer specifications before production; support customer audits and quality meetings; investigate customer complaints and coordinate timely CAPA.
• Monitor customer quality performance indicators and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Documentation control: coordinate, review, verify, and endorse quality documentation (COC, PTR, NOI, MTC, DIB, NCR, Concession, MRB, CDB); ensure compliance.
• Coordinate internal and third-party inspections; witness inspections when required; verify inspection records prior to product release.
• Support audits and maintain readiness for ISO 9001, API Spec Q1, and customer audits; implement audit corrective actions and monitor closure.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, Project Management, and Operations; provide technical guidance on quality requirements and process improvements.
• Training quality awareness and procedures; coach production personnel on inspection requirements and defect prevention; promote quality culture; ensure 5S and safe work practices.
