Job summary

Kayaku Safety Systems (M) Sdn Bhd seeks a QA/QC professional to assist in maintaining the company's Quality Management System in line with IATF 16949. You will interface with related departments to develop and sustain the QMS and manage document control.

The role covers preparing internal audit plans, audits, reporting on findings and following up on actions, plus supporting QC/QA inspections and KPI reporting for Management Review.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in related field.
• 2–3 years QA in manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF16949 knowledge preferred.
• Experience in QC/QA inspections.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Strong MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills.
• Positive, problem-solving attitude.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System across the company.
• Interface with departments to develop and maintain the QMS.
• Take charge of document control for the QMS.
• Prepare yearly internal audit plan, schedule and program.
• Summarize internal audit findings and report on implementation status.
• Report to QMR on QMS performance and improvement areas.
• Assist in reviewing and improving procedures and processes for QMS.
• Assist in QC/QA Inspection as required.
• Prepare reports and summaries for KPI Scorecard and Management Review.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.

Job description

1. 1. To assist Asst manage in maintaining Quality Management System of the company compliance with IATF 16949.
2. 2. To interface & communicate with all related departments to develop & maintain the Quality Management System.
3. 3. To be in charge of Document Control for the company's Quality Management System.
4. 4. To prepare the yearly internal audit plan, audit schedule & audit program.
5. 5. To summarize the internal audit findings & prepare the report for status of implementation.
6. 6. To report to Quality Management Representative on the performance of Quality Management System & highlight areas that need improvement.
7. 7. To assist Quality Management Representative in reviewing & improving the procedure & processes needed for quality Management System.
8. 8. To assist in QC Inspection section whenever required.
9. 9 To prepare all relevant reports, summaries etc. for KPI Scorecard, Management Review.
10. 10. To perform other duties as assigned by the management.
11. 11. Adhere and follow all the rules & regulation of company from time to time.

Job Requirement:

1. 1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
2. 2. Candidate must have experience at least 2-3 year experience in Quality Assurance in manufacturing environment.
3. 3. Good knowledge in ISO9001. Knowledge in IATF16949 will be an added advantage.
4. 4. Experience in QC/QA Inspection will be an added advantage.
5. 4. Experience in Automotive Industry will be an added advantage.
