Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead IQC for incoming materials, manage schedules, and drive root-cause analysis through standard procedures. You will audit suppliers, collaborate with buyers, and ensure quality targets are met across production.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in quality or engineering, experience with 8D methods, and knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/13485. Strong data skills and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or related field.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards (9001, 14001, 13485) is advantageous.
• Experience with 8D problem solving and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead IQC for raw materials and components and verify specifications.
• Manage IQC input/output schedules to meet production timelines.
• Create and maintain SIPs (Standard Inspection Procedures).
• Handle material quality issues and containment of non-conforming materials.
• Assist suppliers in root cause analysis and RCA.
• Conduct supplier audits and review corrective actions (CAR/8D).
• Collaborate with buyers for technical support and material evaluations.
• Analyze IQC data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
