Job summary

Cognizant in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced QA professional with strong airline domain knowledge to join our flight booking testing team. You will contribute to end-to-end passenger journeys across web and mobile channels, focusing on search, fare rules, cabin classes, and ancillary services.

You will validate booking flows, payments, tickets, and IT communications, perform functional, integration and regression testing, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases

Qualifications

• Strong airline domain experience across passenger booking journeys.
• Experience with web and mobile booking channels.
• Expertise in flight search, fare families, cabin classes, and booking flows.
• Knowledge of ancillary services and related options.
• Understanding of payment processing, ticket generation, and itinerary details.
• Experience performing functional, integration, and regression testing; mobile app testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; automation testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in flight search, fare families, cabin classes, booking flows, fare rules, and passenger type code (PTC) validations.
• Experience validating ancillary services including seat selection, baggage, meals, upgrades, and related booking options.
• Good understanding of payment processing, booking confirmation, ticket generation, itinerary details, and customer communications.
• Ability to perform functional, integration, regression, and mobile application testing across booking and servicing journeys.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer-focused behavior; automation testing experience is an added advantage.
