As a Quality Intern (Analytical Chemistry), you will step into a hands‑on, high‑impact laboratory environment, gaining practical experience in raw material testing, wet chemistry, instrumental analysis, and finished product verification. Working directly alongside laboratory scientists and quality engineers, you will contribute to daily batch testing, calibration, and method verification, while driving continuous improvement and digital data integrity initiatives that ensure products meet the highest global quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Support daily wet chemistry and instrumental analysis for raw materials, bulk intermediates, and finished consumer products (e.g., pH, viscosity, titration, specific gravity, moisture analysis, HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry)
  • Assist in standard solution preparations, reagent inventory tracking, and calibration/maintenance of laboratory instruments (e.g., viscometers, pH meters, balances)
  • Take charge of retain sample management, logging, and stability retention tracking to ensure traceability, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Assist Quality and Product Development teams in testing physical and chemical parameters during new formula trial runs and factory pilot batches
  • Support Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Data Integrity initiatives across daily analytical logging and documentation
  • Drive laboratory digitization projects to modernize data collection, trend analysis, and reporting (e.g., transitioning manual bench sheets into digital dashboards and structured spreadsheets)
  • Assist in Out-of-Specification (OOS) and Out-of-Trend (OOT) investigations by verifying sample records, testing parameters, and contributing to root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Review and assist in standardizing Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard test methods (STMs)
About you

  • High precision in pipetting, measurement, recording of analytical data, and handling chemical documentation
  • Skilled in data analysis and technical reporting using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Excel (formulas, chart creation, pivot tables)
  • Familiarity with statistical tools (e.g., SPSS, Minitab) or LIMS concepts is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the confidence to collaborate across laboratory teams, plant operations, and quality systems personnel
