Job summary

BizLink Group in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a QS Manager to act as Management Representative for the QMS in a manufacturing setting, leading customer and internal audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will drive continuous improvement across Southeast Asia sites, coordinate cross-functional teams, and uphold ISO 9001 and related standards with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials or Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or QMS in manufacturing or regulated industry.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Mandarin fluency preferred due to Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead in customer audit and internal audit.
• Review and distribute external audit assessments to involved internal teams and ensure timely completion.
• Arrange internal QMS audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments and customers to align audit checklists.
• Drive improvements on audit findings with cross-functional teams.
• Act as Management Representative for QMS and liaison with top management, customers, certification bodies, and auditors.

Overview Of The Position

The QS (Quality Systems) Manager serves as the Management Representative for the Quality Management System (QMS) within a manufacturing environment. This pivotal role ensures strict adherence to regulatory and customer standards by spearheading both internal and customer audits, managing product regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across regional Southeast Asia sites.

Overview Of The Position

The QS (Quality Systems) Manager serves as the Management Representative for the Quality Management System (QMS) within a manufacturing environment. This pivotal role ensures strict adherence to regulatory and customer standards by spearheading both internal and customer audits, managing product regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across regional Southeast Asia sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in customer audit and internal audit.
• Review and distribute the external audit assessment to all the involved internal team members and ensure the audit assessment completed in timely manner.
• Arrange an internal QMS audit to ensure actual practise are compliance with the regulatory & customer requirements.
• Work closely with all the internal department & customer to align the customer audit checklist inquiry.
• Collaborate with all the internal department team to drive the improvement on the audit findings.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Support all others South east asia manufacturing site QMS such as Balam.
• Act as the Management Representative for the Quality Management System (QMS) and serve as the primary liaison between top management, employees, customers, certification bodies, and external auditors on QMS-related matters.
• Ensure product regulatory compliance are well manage such as environmental restricted substance & product safety certification.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Material or Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent and demonstrated experience
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or QMS, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.
• Good communication skill and presentation skills
• Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Professional certification such as Lead Auditor / ISO 9001/ISO 13485/AS9100/IATF 16949/ Quality Management is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in ISO 9001, internal/external audits, CAPA, risk management, document control, and continuous improvement.
