Job summary

SUSTIO Sdn Bhd, located in Batu Kawan, Penang, seeks an experienced QMS Manager to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System across the organization.

The role requires at least 5 years in QMS within manufacturing, strong auditing and CAPA capabilities, and leadership to promote quality excellence and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in MS Office and a focus on KPI-driven quality improvements are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, QMS, Internal & External Auditing, CAPA, Document Control, Calibration Management, Management Review, and Quality KPI Management.
• Experience in managing certification audits, customer audits, and quality system compliance activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Sustio Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced and driven QMS Manager to lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, UL, customer requirements, and regulatory standards while driving quality excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage all Quality Management System (QMS) activities across the organization.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, standards, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, UL requirements, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.

Plan, coordinate, and manage internal audits, external audits, certification audits, customer audits, and supplier audits.

Lead management review meetings and monitor QMS effectiveness through performance indicators and quality objectives.

Manage document control, calibration systems, training records, and quality documentation.

Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) arising from audit findings, customer feedback, and quality system issues.

Monitor quality KPIs and ensure achievement of departmental and organizational quality targets.

Lead QMS training programs and promote quality awareness across all departments.

Manage hazardous substance control and compliance for direct raw materials and manufacturing processes.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.

Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Internal & External Auditing, CAPA, Document Control, Calibration Management, Management Review, and Quality KPI Management.

Experience managing certification audits, customer audits, and quality system compliance activities.

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in PCB, Electronics, Semiconductor, EMS, or Manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
