Job summary

Thales Malaysia is seeking a senior QHSE leader to drive Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental performance for the CDI organization, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and corporate policy alignment.

The role leads audits, risk management, non-conformance investigations and continuous improvement, while promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Travel will be required as needed; the ideal candidate has 5–8 years in QHSE and a related degree, plus auditing qualifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, industrial engineering, quality management, safety & health, or environmental science.
• SHO certification is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
• Strong auditing, risk assessment and incident investigation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QHSE function and ensure ISO 9001 compliance across the organization.
• Oversee HSE programs, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Manage audits, certifications, and non-conformance actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Promote QHSE culture and train staff on policies and procedures.
• Liaise with regulators, customers, and certification bodies.
