CBRE Asia Pacific in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator to assist with developing basic procedures and operational guidance within the Health, Safety, and Environmental program.

This role is part of the Environment Health and Safety function, responsible for organizational programs to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. You will support monitoring, compliance, and improvement initiatives while following defined procedures under close supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with up to 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Excellent communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

• Provide support for monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Support development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance.
• Examine permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure compliance.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain inspection records; investigate complaints and suspected violations.
• Monitor follow-up actions and present findings to management.
• Inform management, clients, and employees of regulations and inspection findings; recommend corrections.
• Identify cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities.
• Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.

About The Role

• Support the development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance results.
• Examine permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure compliance.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain inspection records. Investigate complaints and suspected violations.
• Monitor follow-up actions in cases where violations were found and present findings to management.
• Inform the management team, clients, and employees of control regulations and inspection findings, and make recommendations on how violations can be corrected.
• Aid in Identifying cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
