Job summary

Micron Technology in Penang is seeking a Diploma holder in Electrical/ Electronics for monitoring and supporting daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth production flow and product quality. You will investigate issues, perform inspections, and collaborate with engineering with emphasis on data handling, scripting, and AI-enabled tool usage to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth production flow and product quality.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement timely containment actions.
• Review and disposition product holds per quality and procedures.
• Perform product inspections, verification, and data collection to support QA initiatives.
• Support troubleshooting, process validation, and continuous improvement with engineering teams.
• Analyze manufacturing and quality data to support problem-solving and process improvements.
• Maintain documentation and records related to inspections, investigations, and process activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve production and quality challenges in a timely manner.
• Support new product introduction, engineering evaluations, and manufacturing readiness activities as required.

• Support new product introduction, engineering evaluations, and manufacturing readiness activities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline
• Basic exposure or understanding of:
• Semiconductor manufacturing
• Data handling, scripting, or structured technical systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-driven engineering environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple parallel requests.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, data analysis, programming, or Artificial Intelligenceapplications is a plus.
• Experience using Generative AI, AI Assistant, or other AI-Enabled tools is preferred.
