Job summary

Micron Technology in Malaysia is seeking a DRAM Fab Product QA Engineer to drive qualification planning, review and release, and to define sampling plans for outgoing quality. The role involves monitoring quality metrics across FAB, assembly, and backend for high-volume manufacturing, with emphasis on data-driven root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience in solid state electronics and MOSFET/CMOS processes.
• Solid understanding of DRAM operation and fabrication.
• Experience with statistical tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide Qualification plan, review and release qualification.
• Define outgoing quality and reliability sampling and test plan.
• Monitor OQRM from FAB, Assembly, Backend, MODULE for HVM product.
• Dispo deviation materials and time to dispo.
• Inventory reduction, rescreen and rework to minimize CoNC.
• Review internal quality metrics and drive customer DPM to BIC.
• Data mining and correlation of inline test data; root cause finding and CA/PA.

Responsibilities And Tasks

• AI proficiency is required. (Co-pilot, Agentic AI, LLM)
• Provide Qualification plan, review and release qualification
• Define outgoing quality and reliability sampling and test plan
• Monitor OQRM from FAB, Assembly, Backend, MODULE for HVM product.
• Dispo deviation materials. Time to dispo.
• Inventory reduction, rescreen and rework to minimize the CoNC.
• Review internal quality metric and drive customer DPM to BIC.
• Data mining and correlation all inline test data. Root cause finding and drive CA/PA (Corrective Action/Preventive Action).

Education requirement

Required Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience in:

• Solid State Electronic Devices
• MOSFET, CMOS Process Related field of study

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skill
• Good organizational skills and sharp attention to detail
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Efficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Kit, including Outlook, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of DRAM operation and fabrication process, wafer test, component test and module testing concept and flow.
• Knowledge of using statistical tools, unix and JMP.
• Familiarity with Unix, and/or ATE (Auto Test Equipment) preferred.
• Ability to work independently or in a group environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical equipment, e.g. TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry), 3D X-Ray, CSAM (C-mode Scanning Acoustic Microscope), etc.
